Winter in Piedmont

After some previous visits during summer and autumn I had the chance to go back in winter for another visit in Piedmont. With only few tourists around and a little less work in the vineyard than in summer, life is slower. It is the moment to spend time with family and visit friends and sitting together to enjoy good food and drink.

In winter there is the season to relax, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying good food

Sampling the next vintage that is maturing in wooden barrels to check on the process and quality

Home made pasta prepared and cooked by the Nonna is great treat and tastes like heaven

Relaxing after a hard day of work and looking forward to a tasty home cooked meal.
